MAIN ELEMENTS OF MANGAL STRUCTURE

TURNING ON
IMPORTANT
The room in which the charcoal grill will be installed must be equipped with good ventilation (natural or artificial) in order to provide an outgoing ventilation stream of about 90/95% cc. m relative to remote air with forced suction. This will avoid the internal pressure drop that can result from smoke returning to the room.
Place the grill in an agreed place and make sure that:
- the supporting surface can support the weight of the device;
- the floor is horizontal, flat, easy to clean and non-flammable.
Connect the device to an air duct with smoke extraction and forced suction, which must have a cross-section, power and smoke extraction pressure calculated and realized by specialized organizations, in accordance with the characteristics of the device and the room in which it is installed.
Make sure that the unit is correctly connected to the duct and, when first switched on, check that the duct is tight, i.e. does not let smoke through.
For option with installed backlight or spark arrestor:
Insert the power plug of the device into an electrical outlet in the room to supply voltage to the lamps located inside the hood. The lighting of the lamps inside the hood, for safety reasons, is not controlled by a switch located on the device. Therefore, it is recommended to plug the device into an outlet controlled by the switch in an easily accessible and convenient place for personnel / cook using the charcoal grill.
The power supply network of the premises must have a special ground loop.

WORKING SPACE
The available space in front of the device should be approximately 100 cm deep.
Always use the barbecue in front. Remember to wear kitchen gloves made of non-flammable material.

DEVICE OPERATION
Before turning on the grill, make sure that the air valves located on the exhaust hood are open for ventilation. Place the coals in a brazier or starter and light them with an environmentally friendly, highly flammable product. Adjust the holes for the required embers purge. When the coals are smoldering, spread them over the trays using a small spatula, and then place the grill rack on the grill.

For models without a brazier, light the charcoal directly on the trays and when the coals begin to smolder, place the grill on the grill.

Place the food you want to cook (meat, fish, cheese and vegetables) on the cooking grates. It is recommended to use long-handled forks, tongs and long-handled spatulas to place food on the grates, check the cooking, turn them over and remove them. During cooking, adjust the height of the charcoal trays using the levers under the work surface. You can move the embers closer to or further away from the products to increase or decrease the heat radiation.
After finishing cooking, remove the food.

IMPORTANT
When cooking, wear kitchen gloves made of non-flammable material: gloves are essential to protect against heat and move the cooking grate without risk of burns.

INCORRECT USE

DO NOT USE OTHER FUELS other than firewood and coal and / or other materials of UNKNOWN ORIGIN.
Do not use flammable liquids such as alcohol, gasoline and others to ignite charcoal. Keep flammable liquids or other flammable materials away from the grill. Do not place flammable objects in the grill, as this may result in a fire when the device is turned on.
CHILD SAFETY
Never leave children unattended when the grill is in operation and avoid allowing children to come close to the device unattended by a responsible person.

- Warning: Risk of burns! When the barbecue is in operation, the inner and outer surfaces become very hot.

DISCONNECTING THE DEVICE
After use, remove the charcoal from the pallet and place in a heat insulated container to cool. This container is not supplied with charcoal grill. Before turning off the exhaust fan, make sure there are no charcoal residues in the pan.

CLEANING THE DEVICE AND REMOVING ASH AND COMBUSTION PRODUCTS
Clean the grill only when it is turned off and completely cooled. Make sure the device is disconnected from the power supply before cleaning.
Remove ash from the drawers on the front of the grill. Collect the ash in a special container and dispose of it.
The device must be cleaned with an appropriate cleaning agent designed for stainless steel and polished surfaces. You can use common oven cleaners.
Do not use abrasive and / or corrosive products. Wipe the components of the device gently using a soft cloth.
Stainless steel components must be rinsed in hot water and wiped dry with a soft cloth.
